"I write my own songs. When you write your own songs, I believe you sing it better. Not better because of the technique, but because of the conviction. A true artist should pull out what's inside. Inside, because you've seen it, touched it, lived it. Something that means or affected you so much, that you decided to birth an entirely new creation based upon it. When I write, it feels special. When I sing what I write, it's now something that is not only special for me but can become special for someone else too. I believe singing is a spiritual experience. It gives people a window into your soul and people feel it because we're all so much alike. A lot more alike than people believe or are willing to admit. How do you feel when a loved one dies? How do you feel when you accomplish something? How do you feel when you have had enough? My writing is always changing, but it's  always a window into many souls."   -EMMANUEL
